DIY Coconut Coffee Scrub

handmade and natural Coconut Coffee Scrub

An Easy & Plastic Free Body Exfoliation

I hope you had a nice time with your loved ones during the Festive period. The festive period means also too much food and alcohol so January often rhymes with detox.

The coconut coffee scrub is a DIY recipe I've been using for years and it is great for our legs. The only downside is that you would have to clean your shower after because of the ground coffee :)

A natural recipe with only 3 ingredients

Material: - Muffin tins - Bowl - A spoon and/or a whisk

Ingredients: -  Coconut oil (250 g) -  Coffee grounds (250 g) -  Grapefruit essential oil (30 drops) - optional

1 - Melt the coconut oil. 2 - Mix the coconut oil and the coffee ground.  3 - Add the essential oil, stir well. 4 - Pour the mixture into muffin tins and put it in the freezer.

After a few hours, you can use the scrub. Pop them out and if you don't use them immediately, leave them in the freezer (in a glass jar for example).

The coffee is messy so I strongly advise to use the scrub in the shower. You can make round circles on your skin with the scrub and then rinse well. The coconut oil will moisturise your skin.
