Covid-19 & Brexit Update (18/01/2021)

We still receive orders and ship them within 2 business days to Ireland and Europe. Due to the current situation, please expect delays.

Deliveries to Ireland: Orders are shipped with Parcel Motel. It currently takes up to 4 business days to receive your parcel in the Republic of Ireland.

Northern Ireland & Great Britain: Deliveries to Northern Ireland and Great Britain are temporarily suspended. We hope to reinstate the service in due course and will keep this page up to date regarding any changes.

Deliveries to Europe: Orders are shipped with DPD or UPS to Europe. They are doing their best at the moment to deliver your parcel as fast as possible.

A tracking number will be communicated to you so you can see where is your order.

Is the website safe and how can I pay for my order?

The shop is powered by Wix and the website is HTTPS.

 

The SSL certificate allows your site to use HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), which is the secure protocol through which your browser communicates with sites.

When using HTTP sites, any data that is transferred can potentially be accessed or manipulated by attackers. However, when using HTTPS sites, data is encrypted and authenticated and therefore secured.

When you order the products on justineleguil.com, you can pay with PayPal or by Credit/Debit Card. When you choose the latest payment method, we use a third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc.

Justine le Guil does not store credit card details and instead relies on Stripe for this.

Can I leave a review? 

Absolutely! You can leave your review on our Facebook page or Google. If you placed your order on a platform (Etsy, Market Street or Croia), you can leave your feedback on their website. Should you have any issues with your order, please contact us first so we can solve it as soon as possible!

Where can I buy Justine Le Guil products?

You can buy our shampoos and skincare accessories in our online shop but also on Etsy, Market Street, Croía Ireland and Skinfull Affairs (Dublin), Ardmore Pottery & Gallery (Co. Waterford).

Justine Le Guil is a small business and unfortunately, some cosmetics can be out of stock. You can send us an email to pre-order the product(s) you want and Justine will reply to you as soon as possible.

The Cosmetics

Safety & EU Regulations 

As per Cosmetics regulations in Europe, Justine le Guil's products have been assessed by a cosmetic chemist and safety assessor. A Cosmetic Product Safety Report (certification) has been delivered for each cosmetic. Also, our Good Manufacturing Process is adhered to at all times.

 

This being said, these products are for external use only and must not be used around the eyes, mucous membranes or on broken skin. If irritation occurs discontinue use.

 

Please note the shampoos are made with essential oils. These products are not specifically intended for children under 3 years of age. If you are breastfeeding, pregnant, taking any medications or under medical supervision, please contact your doctor before use.

Vegan & Cruelty-Free 

Our products are vegan and not tested on animals. Also, our suppliers confirmed the ingredients are not used on animals either. The business is part of the Beauty without Bunnies Program (Peta).

Organic Essential Oils

Fragrances are not used to make cosmetics, only organic essential oils as it is a more natural option.

If you are breastfeeding, pregnant, taking any medications or under medical supervision, please contact your doctor before use.

Care Instructions 

Shampoos: Please don't forget to allow your shampoo to dry in order to keep it longer. It is advised to store them in a soap dish and away from water. More tips here

Cotton Wipes & Face cloths: How to Keep Your Reusable Wipes and Face Cloths Longer?

SCI (Sodium cocoyl isethionate)
SCI is used to make our solid shampoos. This natural surfactant is derived from coconut with foaming and softening properties. It leaves a very soft touch on the skin and hair.

Which shampoo is the most suitable for me?

We recommend you to read the cosmetic's description but also the benefits of the key's ingredients to assess which haircare product is best for you. This being said, don't hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to guide you.

The Packaging

Solid Shampoos

Solid shampoos are handcrafted. Hence the weight, colour and shape may vary slightly.

The shampoos are wrapped by hand with FSC & chlorine-free paper and then put in a small cardboard box. We use cardboard boxes made in Britain with materials sourced from the UK and EU. The boxes are made from 95% (minimum) recycled paper. We use recycled, 100% post-consumer waste and FSC paper to print labels. Labels are also cut and applied by hand with solvent-free glue. The packaging is fully recyclable.

 


Skincare accessories

Our makeup remover pads, reusable cotton pads and face cloths are handmade in Dublin. Hence the weight and shape may vary slightly.

These products are offered in plastic-free and eco-friendly cardboard boxes which are made in Britain with materials sourced from the UK and EU. The boxes are made from 95% (minimum) recycled paper. Labels are also cut and applied by hand with solvent-free glue. The packaging is fully recyclable.

 


Shipping Packaging

Your order is shipped in recycled & unbleached wrapping paper, recycled & plastic-free padded envelopes. You might also receive your item(s) in reused boxes and wrapping paper. The boxes are closed with brown paper tape.

We advise you to reuse the wrapping paper, boxes and envelopes when possible to reduce waste. A printed invoice is not included with your order in order to save paper. However, if you would like a printed receipt, please let us know.
